Ancient Egyptian Temples FREE

Ancient Egyptian temples fell into two principal types: ‘cult temples’ and ‘funerary or mortuary temples’. The cult temples were houses of worship to a god or goddess; while mortuary temples were created as shrines to dead kings.

This MAC and Windows App reconstructs the earliest Egyptian temples of reeds and wooden poles, the Old Kingdom stone Sun Temples and the vast temple complexes of New Kingdom.

The architectural formula of New Kingdom temples is explained with cut away diagrams and meticulously detailed 3D reconstructions.
